Paula Harvey, AICP, Director

A native of Tennessee, Paula Harvey graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Urban Planning.  She has over 35 years of experience in planning and federal grant programs for criminal justice and parks and recreation and municipal and county zoning and land use.  Twenty-five of those years have been in Florida.  She is a graduate of the Institute of Government Executive Fellows Program and has been previously honored as Manager of the Year in Hillsborough County.  Paula comes from being Zoning Administrator with the Planning and Growth Management Department to Interim Director of the Affordable Housing Department.  Paula is married and has twin daughters who both have Master's degrees from the University of Florida.
