| Hillsborough County Aging Services and the Tampa Housing Authority
co-sponsored Elderly Affairs Day, a day of fun for seniors at the J.L. Young
Aparments on May 15. This event is part of the Older Americans Month
celebration in May. Activities included a health fair with screenings, live
music, dancing and prizes. County Commissioner Kevin White presented Bart
Banks, Aging Services Acting Director, with a Proclamation to honor the
contributions of the seniors in our community. This year's Older Americans
Month theme is "Working Together for Strong, Healthy and Supportive
Communities. |
