Seffner Ground Breaking

Condemned 12 years ago, the community center and surrounding property has undergone extensive renovation. The building opened in 1914 and became a congregate dining site in 1976.


	The landscape includes a new drainage system, parking lot, a walking trail and playground with park benches. Seniors enjoy the shaded park benches while socializing.


A millenium tree selected by the Board of County Commissioners was planted to commemorate the event. The tree is expected to blossom into a lovely shaded area for seniors to enjoy.
