Budget Workshops provide background and information to Commissioners on a wide variety of programs and services. Staff members are present to assist with answering questions. Commissioners may "flag" budget items they want to study in more detail. Typically, there is not time set aside for public comment.
Public Hearings provide a formal public forum for citizens to express their viewpoints on any aspect of the County Budget. Residents may also participate in Budget process by calling or texting the Budget Hotline at 813.704.0181 or by sending an email.
Budget Workshops All Budget Workshops begin at 1:30 p.m.
Public Hearings All Public Hearings begin at 6 p.m. and are scheduled in the 2nd Floor Board Room of County Center. There is the possibility that additional Public Hearings may be scheduled in locations around the County.
