Bully Busters |
Bullying happens when someone hurts or scares another person on purpose, and the person being bullied has a hard time defending themselves. Bullying can be made worse when people are aware, but take no action. It can happen in many places including school, the street and home.
Bully Busters is a grant and donation-funded public awareness and education partnership between Hillsborough County and the Sheriff’s Office to reduce bullying among Hillsborough County’s youth.
Bullying will never disappear, but Hillsborough County is working to reduce bullying, and ensure that those who are bullied get the help and support they need. |
