During the summer, youngsters throughout the county receive free breakfast, lunch and/or an afternoon snack through this program. Meals are served from mid-June to mid-August at city and county parks, YMCA day care centers, Boys & Girls Clubs, churches, public housing auditoriums, and at other non-profit facilities where economically disadvantaged children congregate during summer vacation. All children 18 years of age or younger are eligible. No pre-registration is required.
