Citizen Boards Support

Provides staff support to a variety of boards, councils and committees—from collecting fines to coordinating inspection cases.
Hillsborough Television

HTV is the County’s award-winning cable television channel that provides 24-hour, 7-day-a-week programming about County government and the services it provides. Programs range from live coverage of County Commission meetings and 10-18 other public meetings per month, and public affairs, community and general informational programming on countywide services.
Remote production truck allows HTV to televise from any location in the County, offering live coverage of BOCC Town Hall Meetings and various special events throughout the County.
HTV also is available by webcast on the County’s Web site and through PCTV, which allows staff to view meetings in real time via computer and obtain captioning transcripts. All meetings are closed-captioned.
Language Services
Provides translation/interpretation services to Hillsborough County departments only so they can better communicate with residents whose first language is not English. For specific documents in another language besides English, contact Luis Lopez at (813) 307-8377. Currently there are 25 different languages available for interpretation.
Printing Services

Provides a comprehensive printing service to all county organizations and a Copier Management System for county offices.
Public Information & Media Relations

Provides County accurate and timely information and programs to the public and media through print, visual, electronic and verbal means. The public information team acts as liaisons between news outlets and the almost 6,000 County employees to address reporter concerns accurately and efficiently. They also coordinate internal communications efforts.
