Water Resource Team Public Hearing On County Commission Agenda
|

At their Feb. 21 meeting, County Commissioners will receive information and conduct a public hearing on whether to seek arbitration under Tampa Bay Water’s Interlocal Agreement regarding the following Primary Environmental Permit modification:
Tampa Bay Water proposes to modify its Optimized Regional Operations Plan that controls pumping at 11 central system well fields in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties. When new sources of water, such as the Brandon Urban Dispersed Wellfield, are brought on line, Tampa Bay Water has to monitor the effects of the new source. This modification is required to incorporate aquifer water level control points for the new Brandon Urban Dispersed Wellfield into the existing Optimized Regional Operations Plan.
