What: 12th Annual Teenage Battle of the Bands

Studio time for two top winners
The search is on for talented teen musicians to compete in the 12th Annual Teenage Battle of the Bands hosted by the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department. The event will be held November 6 - 7 at the Hillsborough County Fair from 6 - 11 p.m. The Fair is located at 4810 E. State Road 60 in Dover, five miles east of Brandon at the intersection of Sidney-Washer Road and Highway 60.
The two winning bands receive free studio time to record their music.
Bands can apply now for the competition, and only a limited number of bands will be accepted. The entry fee is $50 dollars per band and members must be between 13 and 20 years of age.
The bands are judged on guitars, drums, vocals, showmanship, originality and preparation.
