Prescribed Burn Scheduled for Oct. 22 in Little Manatee River Preserve (Camp Bayou), and in Cypress Creek Nature Preserve

Hillsborough County's Parks, Recreation & Conservation Department will conduct two prescribed burns today, Thursday, October 22, at Little Manatee River Preserve (Camp Bayou), 4102 24th St SE, in Ruskin and at Cypress Creek Nature Preserve, 18998 Lizard Tail Lane in Tampa.

The burn will last one day. The purpose of the burn is for ecological site management.
