In this 2 hour class presented by the University of Florida and Hillsborough County Extension, you will learn about the threats that currently exist on the Internet such as viruses, Trojans and botnets. Unfortunately no single tool currently exists that will offer you complete protection. Instead you will be introduced to the layered approach to Internet security. You'll learn about a number of tools and techniques that can be used together to offer comprehensive protection. In addition, you'll learn several methods of backing up your data and where to find help should problems occur.
