A countywide call center--Hillsborough County InfoL!ne 272-5900--open 7 a.m. - 11 p.m., seven days a week. It receives more than 145,000 citizen requests for county services via telephones, fax and e-mail; handles complaints quickly and courteously; and disseminates accurate information and appropriate referrals to community social service and health agencies and county offices.

Created and coordinates Community Link, an automated system linking the Citizen Action Center's database to more than 75 government and non-profit agencies throughout the county.

Publishes the Directory of Community Services, a printed version of its information and referral database, which is used by more than 2,500 school counselors, social service workers and non-profit agencies.v

Provides staff coordination for meetings/special events in the Robert J. Arenal Conference Center, County Center Lobby and the Joe Chillura Courthouse Square.
