Job Creation Incentive Programs

- Florida Qualified Target Industries Tax Refund Program
- This program is available to qualified target industry businesses with average wages exceeding 115% of the state average, as in section 288.106 of the Florida Statues, that create new high-wage employment opportunities in Florida either by expanding an existing business within the State or by bringing a new business to the State.
- Premier Business Bonus Program
- Local incentive grant used in conjunction with States QTI. Available to qualified applicants creating new high-wage job opportunities, with exceptionally high wages and capital investment, either by expanding an existing business within the County or by bringing a new business to the County.
- Employers Impact Fee Mitigation Program
- This program is available to qualified businesses to be awarded toward development transportation impact fees assessed (excluding water and wastewater capacity fees). Applications must be submitted in advance of any permit application, changing land usage or building occupancy related to the proposed jobs.
- Employers Water & Wastewater Capacity Fee Mitigation Program
- This program is available to qualified businesses to be awarded toward water & wastewater capacity and accrued guaranteed revenue fees. Applications must be submitted in advance of any permit application, changing land usage or building occupancy related to the proposed jobs.
- High Impact Performance Incentive Grant
- This program provides a grant to pre-approved applicants in certain high impact sectors designated by OTTED. In order to participate in the program, the project must: operate within designated high-impact portions of the following sectors: biomedical technology, financial services, silicon technology, and transportation equipment manufacturing.
- Capital Investment Tax Credit
- This program is targeted for extraordinarily capital-intensive industries. Eligible projects are those in designated high-impact portions of the following sectors: biomedical technology, financial services, silicon technology, and transportation equipment manufacturing.
