You can apply to demolish a residential or commercial structure.


Permit Fees

  • Residential: $77
  • Commercial: $154


What you will need for the application:

  • Property owner name
  • Address of the structure
  • Folio #
  • Type of construction
    • Residential needs total heated/AC sq. footage and total area sq. footage
    • Commercial needs total area sq. footage
  • Number of structures to be demolished
  • Owner/Agent signature
  • Plot plan – showing all existing structures and structures to be removed
  • Contractor name, license #, address, phone, fax, email (if applicable)
  • Approval signatures

Things To Consider

  • Permits are valid for 180 days after we issue them
  • Property owner/agent requirements:
    • certify that they have or will comply with all applicable federal, state, and county laws/regulations pertaining to asbestos removal
    • certify that they received the required reporting forms and will comply with these reporting requirements
    • make sure debris is removed and the lot is properly cleaned and rough graded

  1. Staff will review the application, plans, and any accompanying documentation while you wait
  2. Contractors
  3. Owners
    • only the person on the application can pick-up the permit
  4. Pay full permit costs
  5. Schedule building final inspection
