Chip Fletcher, County Attorney
County Attorney, Chip Fletcher was appointed by and reports to the Board of County Commissioners.
The County Attorney represents and provides legal advice to the Board of County Commissioners, the County Administrator, and all County departments.
The office also prosecutes and defends legal actions by and against the county as approved or directed by the Board and county administrator. The officers created under Section I(d) of Article VIII of the Florida Constitution (the clerk of the Circuit Court, property appraiser, tax collector, sheriff, and supervisor of elections) may use the legal services of this office.
