County Job Fair Rescheduled for Nov. 4

Virtual Job Fair Also Rescheduled for Nov. 4

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Oct. 6, 2016) - In an abundance of caution and for the safety of citizens as Florida prepares for Hurricane Matthew, Commissioner Sandy Murman has rescheduled tomorrow's Hillsborough County Job Fair for Friday, Nov. 4 from 8:30 a.m.to noon at the Hillsborough Community College Dale Mabry Campus, Student Services Building, 4001 W. Tampa Blvd. in Tampa.

Tomorrow's scheduled Virtual County Job Fair will also be rescheduled for Nov. 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. Job seekers will be able to access the Virtual County Job Fair online, but can go to any Hillsborough County Library to use an available computer if they don't have immediate access to computers or the Internet.

"Jobs are important to our community, but public safety is our top priority," said Commissioner Murman. "Hillsborough County remains under a Tropical Storm Watch as Hurricane Matthew approaches Florida. Now is the time to prepare and exercise caution. I look forward to holding our County Job Fair next month."

A majority of employers confirmed for the Job Fair are expected to participate in the rescheduled Nov. 4 event. For updates and a current listing of employers participating in the County Job Fair, access Commissioner Murman's website at www.sandymurman.com and click on the "Job Fair 2016" tab. A confirmed listing of employers participating in the Nov. 4 Job Fair will be available closer to the event.
