12 Days of Wellness

During the hectic holidays it is especially important to safeguard one’s health and well-being. This month, each center offers special activities and events that offer mental and physical strategies to remain healthy and happy. Topics range from the educational to the inspirational.

Flu + You Expo
Hillsborough County’s annual Flu + You drive is a partnership with the National Council on Aging that provides flu education and emphasizes the importance of immunizations, especially for older adults. All centers have free brochures on this important immunization program. For more information, contact Lori Radice at 813-274-6852.

Benefits/Economic Check
Having trouble paying bills, buying food or paying for medications? Millions of older adults are missing out on an estimated $20 billion in free and low-cost support. Hillsborough County Senior Centers can help you find benefits for which you may be entitled. Call one of the centers to set up your appointment.
