Public Meeting: Proposed Location for Keysville Fire Station

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Dec. 2, 2016) - Hillsborough County has scheduled a public information meeting on Monday, Dec. 12, to gather input into the purchase of land in the Keysville area for the site of a future fire station. The open-house format meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Durant High School, 4748 Cougar Path in Plant City.

The undeveloped, 5-acre parcel under consideration is located on the east side of County Road 39, a quarter-mile north of Keysville Road. The proposed purchase price is $100,000, to be funded by the Capital Improvement Program. Construction of a fire station has not yet been scheduled or budgeted.

Staff from Real Estate & Facilities Services, and Fire Rescue will be available to answer questions and accept comments.
