Public Opinion Sought on Keystone Park Upgrades
Hillsborough County, Fla. (Jan. 2, 2018) - The public is invited to give input on what improvements they would like to see at Keystone Park & Recreation Center.
The park and community center are slated for upgrades beginning in late 2018, but the type and scope of the improvements won't be decided until after residents have had an opportunity to give their opinions. A public meeting has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Keystone Park Community Center, 19729 Gunn Highway.
At the Jan. 11 meeting, a short presentation will be given on the project, and Hillsborough County's Park & Recreation officials will be available to answer questions.
The Keystone Park & Recreation Center currently includes a community building, playground, baseball field, tennis courts, basketball courts, a multi-purpose field, and two picnic shelters. Possible additions and upgrades include a renovated community center, expanded playground, resurfaced tennis courts, and the creation of a walking trail with exercise stations. The park's drainage, parking, and lighting also would be improved.
