Rocky Creek Drive Wastewater Expansion Project

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Oct. 18, 2017) - Hillsborough County residents can learn about a proposed project to improve wastewater management for residents living on Rocky Creek Drive in Tampa during a public information meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Hosted by Hillsborough County Public Utilities, the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will take place at the Jackson Springs Recreation Center, 8650 Jackson Springs Road in Tampa.

The meeting will have an open-house format with project displays available for viewing. Attendees can review, ask questions, and comment on the Capital Improvement Project, which could be completed in June 2018.

The proposed wastewater collection system expansion project will include the installation of a sewer pipeline, and would require residents to install a sewage pump station and halt use of their septic tanks if they decide to connect to the County's pipeline.
