Three Ways to Help Local Animals

Adopt, Donate or Volunteer with PRC during Be Kind to Animals Week

How can you celebrate American Humane's Be Kind to Animals Week? With Pet Resource Center of course.

PRC has three easy ways celebrate Be Kind to Animals Week - adopt, donate or volunteer with PRC!

  • Adopt: PRC is offering $20 adoptions for all ready-to-go pets throughout the month of May. Ready-to-go pets are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and registered with Hillsborough County.
  • Donate: Can't adopt a furry friend right now? You can still help them by helping stock up the PRC Food Pantry with dog and cat food donations. Bring in any kind of dog or cat food to Pet Resource Center and it will go to pets in need throughout Hillsborough County. Looking to give more? Check out the full list of donation items for PRC.
  • Volunteer: If you are more a hands-on type person with your celebration, you can sign up to become a PRC volunteer. You can play an important role in helping dogs and cats get adopted, and in keeping them happy and healthy while they're at PRC. Learn more about becoming a PRC volunteer.
