Support Services Mission Statement
Our role is to support the agencies and departments that provide services to and interact with our ultimate customers, the citizens of our community.  We deliver facilities support services with demonstrated cost effectiveness – ensuring clean, comfortable, safe and healthy environments.

Surplus Property Warehouse Services
The Hillsborough County Surplus Warehouse is the final repository for tangible surplus property deemed obsolete by the Board of County Commissioner's departments and agencies, constitutional officers and the 13th Judicial Circuit.  Sustainable practices are endemic to our operation and property is reissued to internal stakeholders whenever possible. Unsalvageable property is recycled through scrap metal and bulk liquidation sales. Revenue generated by surplus sales is placed back into the County General Fund.  The Surplus Warehouse processes approximately 5,800 tangible surplus assets and accommodates over 1,200 visitors annually.

The Surplus Warehouse is fully operational on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays -8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  All deliveries and pick-ups should be scheduled, whenever possible, on these three days.  Tuesdays and Thursday are reserved for visitations and administrative functions.  Delivery and retrieval of surplus assets is the client's responsibility and appointments are coordinated through Ms. Bailey.  Every attempt will be made to accommodate special requirements on non-full service days.

Assets delivered to the Surplus Warehouse must be accompanied by a properly completed property/asset transfer form.  The Surplus Warehouse Procedures Manual, asset transfer forms and instructions are available on the County Online Information Network (COIN).
