The symptoms of a heart attack may include:

• Sudden chest pain or pressure that worsens. This may be felt as discomfort, heaviness, or pain. May be squeezing sensation such as the feeling that a belt is being tightened around your chest.
• Other pain in the upper body such as the back, jaw, throat, one or both or arms
• Unexplained onset of sweating
• Nausea, vomiting
• Dizziness
• Shortness of breath
• A fullness, indigestion or choking feeling (may feel like "heartburn")
• Rapid or irregular heartbeats
• Extreme weakness, anxiety

NOTE: THE SYMPTOMS EXPERIENCED BY A WOMAN MAY BE MUCH MORE SUBTLE. WOMEN EXPERIENCING A HEART ATTACK FREQUENTLY HAVE LITTLE TO NO CHEST PAIN.
