Hillsborough County Fire Rescue utilizes a new employee orientation program which is designed to refresh the recruits' basic skills acquired during job preparation and to further develop their skills to the level endorsed by HCFR. This eight week program takes the paramedic and the firefighter through a rigorous review of all the knowledge objectives and practical skills need to perform their jobs.

Typical Class Outlines for:

All new employees ( whether Paramedics or Fire Fighters )
Paramedic Recruit Orientation ( lasts 4 weeks )
Fire Fighter Recruit Orientation ( lasts 3 weeks )
