Interested in being a volunteer firefighter with our organization?
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is looking for candidates with a good driving record and personal background, who are physically and emotionally fit, and have
a desire to help the community in the providing of emergency services, including Rescue, Emergency Medical, Fire Suppression, Hazardous Materials, and Public Service response.
Many of our volunteer personnel have continued on to become career Fire-medics in Hillsborough County and other departments across the state.
This service requires a substantial commitment of your time and effort in a physically and emotionally demanding position. We provide:
- All background research and medical assessments
- Training and equipment during your service
- Valuable experience and personal satisfaction helping our community
- Financial incentive for long term service
