Grand Opening - New Fire Station in Northdale
Hillsborough County will host a grand opening ceremony for the Northdale Fire Station 41 on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will be held at the new fire station, located at 15909 Mapledale Blvd. Constructed at a cost of $1.8 million, Fire Station 41, which serves the Northdale area, was built to reduce response times of fire rescue units to the scene of an emergency. The 6,400 square-foot facility has three bays with a Fire Engine and an Ambulance, each with Advanced Life Support services on board, and fully staffed with five personnel.
