Two Alarm Fire, Arlington Apartments

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue units arriving on scene at 2225 131st Ave with fire and smoke through the roof of a two story apartment building, Arlington Apartments.

The fire, in an eight (8) unit apartment building, caused fire damage to three (3) units and smoke and water damage to three (3) others. Seven (7) of the units were leased at the time of the fire.

All residents were displaced due to fire damage and power being shut off to the building. Red Cross was called in to provide the residents with immediate assistance.

The two alarm apartment fire at the Arlington Apartments has been determined incendiary, meaning it was intentionally set. No arrest has been made, yet. The damage estimates were initially set at $250,000.
