Mobile Home / Brush Fire
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL. - February 24, 2009 1:14 PM Update:
Fire is extinguished but not before burning an estimated 3 acres, 1 old mobile home (not occupied), 1 old pole barn and many pieces of non-salvageable equipment. Although the fire came close to other mobile homes, no occupied structures were damaged. No operational vehicles were damaged.
The cause of the fire is not known and is being investigated by a Hillsborough County Fire Marshal's Investigator. ________________________________________________________________
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue units are on scene at Sandy Oaks Rd. and Dormany Loop. for a mobile home fire. First units on scene reported a heavily involved mobile home with exposures to another mobile home and several vehicles.
Additional units were requested for water supply and manpower. No reported injuries.
