Jennifer Epstein / Reporter for Fox 13 Hosted the event	Chief of Department William Nesmith and Brigadier General Steven A. Hummer (BG Hummer was the key note speaker)	The event was produced with live and pre-taped video segments by Firefighter Axel Figueroa	Joe Chiellini presents award to Jessica D'amico on behalf of the Crew of St. John	Driver Engineer Troy O'nan receives an award from Local 2294 for work on this years convention, also recognized was Firefighter Richard Hauser
Recently retired members were recognized by Local 2294 for their dedicated service	Hillsborough County Fleet Operations was recognized by Chief Ron Rogers for outstanding service to Fire Rescue	Hillsborough County Sheriff's officers recognize Captain Derek Ryan, and the crew of Engine 6C for their emergency first aid during a shooting in which two deputies were shot.	Firefighters Stan Hyatt, Axel Figueroa and Driver Engineer Josh Tichenor all receive the Achievement Award.	Shopkeeper David Reina is recognized for his efforts in the supply section at Fire Rescue Headquarters with Support Staff Award
Chief Nesmith recognizes Personnel Chief Chip Branam for his efforts with the Administrative Service Medal	Newly Appointed Fire Marshal Stephen Kendrick presents the Fire Marshal Service Citation to Inspector Rick Suarez	Volunteer Firefighter of the year Award is Presented to Chief Capelli of Lutz Volunteer Fire Department on behalf of Captain Patrick Osborne of his department who was unable to attend	Chief Dave Travis Presents the Medical Rescue Award to Lieutenant Ray Hughes	Chief William Singleton Presents the Medal of Valor to Captain Derrik Ryan
Chief Nesmith Presents the Firefighter of the Year Award to Battalion Chief Ernie Wargo Sr.	Chief Singleton presents the Leadership Award Names for Chief Gil Rodriguez to Battalion Chief Danny Dye	The Department Recognizes Shayna Zajac and Cheresse Rehart for donating Pet Resuscitation masks to Fire Rescue (Chief Ron Rogers Presented the Award)	Hillsborough Firefighters Local 2294 President George Sucarichi Makes a lifetime achievement presentation to Retired City Chief and Hillsborough Community College Instructor J. R. Hudson for his 30 plus years of service to firefighters across the bay area	Once the awards concluded some dancing and some "almost" Dancing with the Stars by Chief Robin Stokes was enjoyed
