| Hillsborough County Risk Management serves
the County by maintaining insurance programs to protect the County from
unexpected losses and by processing claims from citizens.
If you feel you have a legal basis for a claim against the County, the Citizen's Claim Form for Property Damage or Injury will
assist you in providing the information necessary for the County Claims Adjuster to respond to your claim. You
must show that the County is at fault because it did something - or failed to do something that it reasonably should have
- that resulted in your loss. Proof of loss alone is not sufficient.
