This office administers the Ryan White CARE Act funds for the local area, according to the directions of the Care Council. Funds are awarded through a competitive process to providers serving persons living with HIV/AIDS and their families in an eight county area, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Manatee, Polk, Hardee and Highlands.

Coordinated planning for the entire eight county region is accomplished through a single planning body, the West Central Florida Ryan White Care Council.  The Care Council web site is: www.thecarecouncil.org and contains a variety of information including meeting minutes, agendas, committee descriptions and meeting locations.
