Financial Assistance Support Program Services
Financial Assistance is provided to Hillsborough residents who
fall below an income range of 125% of
Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Eligible households requiring short term services can receive
temporary assistance based on situations of unemployment, crisis,
underemployment, or disability. Services are structured to meet
each individual’s needs and to maintain their
self-sufficiency. Assistance with basic shelter, utilities, food,
incidental and credit counseling needs are rendered. Other
services including case management services transportation,
medi-nutriment for pregnant women and referrals services to other
community resources are rendered based on the assessment of
individual family needs and case plan.
