Development Services, formerly known as Planning and Growth Management Department, is the County’s community development department that provides planning, zoning, development review, permitting, and building inspection services for unincorporated Hillsborough County, FL.

Many of the department’s customer service functions are now available in one consolidated location - The Center for Development Services’ on the 19th floor in the County Center Building.  The Center also provides several property development and permitting services for the Public Works and Real Estate Departments.
