Meal Services
Hillsborough County promotes better health and healthy eating habits for those age 60 and older by providing nutritious noon meals each weekday, supplemented by nutrition education programs. Nutrition centers are conveniently located throughout Hillsborough County. Attendees can enjoy a hot noon meal and participate in activities that promote healthy living. 

Hillsborough County's Sunshine Line provides door-to-door transportation and bus passes for elderly, low-income, or the disabled who do not have or cannot afford transportation. For additional information on Sunshine Line eligibility requirements or to apply, call 813-272-7272.


Home Delivered Meals
Hillsborough County also provides nutritious meals to seniors who cannot leave their homes because of illness, disability, or those too frail to attend a center.

Meals are funded under Title III of the Older Americans Act through Senior Connection Center, Inc., Florida Department of Elder Affairs, Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, and participants' contributions.
