Meal Services
Hillsborough County promotes better health and healthy eating habits for those age 60 and older by providing nutritious noon meals each weekday, supplemented by nutrition education programs. Nutrition centers are conveniently located throughout Hillsborough County. Attendees can enjoy a hot noon meal and participate in activities that promote healthy living. 

Hillsborough County's Sunshine Line provides door-to-door transportation and bus passes for elderly, low-income, and disabled persons who do not have or cannot afford their own transportation. For additional information on Sunshine Line eligibility requirements or to apply, call 813-272-7272.

Home Delivered Meals
Hillsborough County also provides nutritious meals to seniors who are unable to leave their homes due to illness, disability or who are too frail to make it to the centers.

Funding for these programs is made available under Title III of the Older Americans Act, through the West Central Florida Area Agency on Aging, State of Florida Department of Elder Affairs, the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, and by participants' contributions.
