Animal Advisory Task Force
The Animal Advisory Task Force was created with the goal of evaluating best practices in the field of animal welfare and sheltering in order to develop a financially feasible plan to reduce animal euthanasia in Hillsborough County. The Task Force is comprised of the ten members of the Animal Advisory Committee and three additional members selected from the public. Collectively, representation includes animal shelters, rescues, breeders, veterinarians, business people and other county stakeholders.

All meetings are open to the public with time allotted for the public to provide comments and input to the members.

The information provided below has been posted to allow interested members of the public to easily access previously held meetings and materials provided by the Task Force members.

Special Session
April 24, 2013 - A special session of the Task Force will take place while the Animal Advisory Committee meeting is in recess. The Animal Advisory Committee meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Conference Rooms A & B on the 26th Floor of County Center.
