Rogelio Dean Jr. has been the Director of Hillsborough County's Information and Technology Services Department since October 1993, with a one-year interim stint as the Assistant County Administrator for Management Services in 2003. He has more than 30 years of experience in the technology field in a variety of markets - government, education and manufacturing. He held various management positions within the technical arena encompassing different technology platforms.

Prior to coming to Tampa, he worked for Systems & Computer Technology, in the Information Resource Management Division assigned as the Technical Director for Charleston County, SC, providing management and leadership for the county's data processing department.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Florida International University in Miami.
