The mission of the Management and Budget Department is to develop sound fiscal management practices to effectively allocate and use scarce resources to meet operating and capital needs of today, while anticipating the implications on future fiscal periods. The Department provides the information, analysis, assistance and recommendations to provide a balanced budget for the Board of County Commissioners through the implementation and review of performance measurements, debt management support, revenue tracking and fiscal analysis while meeting the requirements of State and local laws, the County Charter, and professional standards. |
