Job overview
As the Fiscal Services Division Manager, you'll wield comprehensive management responsibility over critical areas including BOCC department accounting and financial reporting support, managerial accounting services, capital project and grant fiscal/accounting support, and Oracle Cloud end-user support. You'll be at the helm of ESQA's departmental staff, driving collaboration with County Fiscal Managers and accounting staff to ensure seamless oversight and management of BOCC accounting procedures and processes.
Your expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud modules will be instrumental as you guide your team in identifying risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and leveraging system functionality to troubleshoot issues and drive overall business process improvements. Your leadership will extend to managing a team of Fiscal Managers, supervising Senior Functional Business Analysts, an Oracle fiscal support help desk, an Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR) support team, and professional accounting staff, ensuring they have the training and resources necessary to excel in their roles.
In addition to maintaining a thorough understanding of accounting standards and the County's financial reporting requirements, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating the County's annual audits, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring fiscal data quality assurance. Your expertise will be vital in evaluating fiscal internal controls, reviewing Oracle Risk Management models and controls, and ensuring proper access and segregation of duties within Oracle Cloud.
Salary
Apply for this incredible opportunity at a Starting Annual Salary of $108,457 and Hillsborough County's dynamic benefits package. In addition to your starting salary, we cover the first $128.20 of every pay period for your selected benefits, effectively boosting your pay rate by approximately $1.60 per hour and slashing annual costs by $3,328!

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university specializing in Accounting or Finance; AND
- Ten (10) years of accounting/finance reporting experience, including 5 at the management level; AND
- Transactional, process and reporting experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
