Bryant O. Johnson has been the Neighborhood Relations Executive Manager for Hillsborough County since January 2008. He is responsible for the Citizen Action Center and for the Office of Neighborhood Relations, a four person office that serves as a liaison between neighborhood associations and County departments, provides technical assistance on organizing associations, and administers four mini-grant programs, Neighborhood Conference, Government Leadership University and two award programs which are designed to encourage civic involvement.
Bryant joined Hillsborough County Government in 2004 and before leading the Citizen Action Center, he was the Executive Manager of the Customer Service Section of the Solid Waste Management Department. Prior to coming to Hillsborough County Government he worked for the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, Florida 2012 Olympic Bid Committee and the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. He was a member of the 1988 US Olympic Handball Team, Seoul, South Korea.
Bryant is an Ohio State University and University of Phoenix graduate
