Neighborhood Coordinators are trained to provide technical assistance, support, motivation, and enthusiasm to neighborhood groups and associations.
Technical assistance in the form of leadership training, recruitment strategies, newsletter formation, meeting organization, event planning, project development, etc.
Assistance and guidance in accessing County services to address neighborhood needs.
Generate Neighborhood Action Reports to follow-up on issues raised at community meetings or called in by neighborhood groups.
Disseminate information about County government to neighborhood associations including the "Neighborhood Connection" newsletter.
Assist in developing neighborhood and other associations.
Provide training and technical assistance.
Assist in developing improvement plans and neighborhood improvement teams.
