- Neighborhood Coordinators are trained to provide technical assistance,
support, motivation, and enthusiasm to neighborhood groups and associations.
- Technical assistance in the form of leadership training, recruitment
strategies, newsletter formation, meeting organization, event planning,
project development, etc.
- Assistance and guidance in accessing County services to address neighborhood
needs.
- Generate Neighborhood Action Reports to follow-up on issues raised
at community meetings or called in by neighborhood groups.
- Disseminate information about County government to neighborhood associations
including the "Neighborhood Connection" newsletter.
- Assist in developing neighborhood and other associations.
- Provide training and technical assistance.
- Assist in developing improvement plans and neighborhood improvement
teams.
