•Meeting Location
Find a meeting place that can adequately accommodate the neighborhood
meeting. If you are expecting a small group, you may want to have
your first meeting in someones home.
For a group larger than 10 people, check the availability of your
local community center or church.
Some County-owned community centers may waive the fees for neighborhood
association meetings.
•Speakers
For a change of pace, you may want to invite someone to speak to issues,
concerns, and interests expressed by your neighbors. You can invite
speakers from various state or County departments. Other community
organizations and social service agencies are good sources for speakers.
If you have a particular concern that you want someone to address,
ask the Neighborhood Relations Office for the name of an appropriate
speaker.
