Alafia River Corridor (PDF, 397KB) Activities: Hiking, Horse Trail, Nature Study, Parking, Picnicking, Public Access
Location: 931 Old Welcome Rd Lithia FL 33547 (Horse Trail) Trail head for the hiking trail is at the north boundary of the Pinecrest Sports Complex (located on Hwy 39, approximately one mile north of Hwy 640). Trail head for the horse trail is located at the end of Old Welcome Rd, approximately one mile south of Hwy 640.

Alafia River North Prong Activities: No Public Access
Location: A protected area of the Alafia River floodplain located east of SR 39 and Keysville Road.

Alafia Scrub Preserve (PDF, 149KB) Activities: Hiking, Nature Study, Public Access
Location: 10212 Gibsonton Drive Riverview FL 33569 On the Alafia River, just east of the Interstate 75 N. of Gibsonton Drive. Walk-through entrance at corner of Gibsonton Drive and Hagadorn.

Alderman's Ford Preserve (PDF, 197KB) Activities: Canoeing, Fishing, Hiking, Nature Study, Parking, Picnicking, Public Access
Location: 8911 Turkey Creek Rd Plant City 33567 (Hiking Trail) Lands on either side of the Alafia River from Alderman's Ford Park westward between S.R. 39 and Lithia Pinecrest Road. Hiking trail entrance is on Turkey Creek Road. Horse trail is on Thompson Rd., however, there is no parking available for trailers.

Apollo Beach Nature Preserve Activities: Fishing, Nature Study, Parking, Picnicking, Public Access
Location: 6760 Surfside Blvd Apollo Beach 33572 Land on the northern tip of the Apollo Beach peninsula. Entrance is on Surfside Blvd.
