Planning and Growth Management is a full service community development department conducting planning, zoning, development review, permitting and inspections services. The Department serves under the direction of the public, the Board of County Commissioners and the County Administrator. Basic services for planning and managing the County's growth are focused on planning for future additions of new residential subdivisions and commercial development, meeting the provisions of the County's zoning code, planning for capital improvements, and ensuring development is built to life-safety and quality construction standards.
