Mark P. Karet has been the Director of Administrative Services since March of 2008. Mark came to Hillsborough County with over 19 years of experience in planning, public administration and project management in both the public and private sectors.

He has an M. A. in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Florida and a B.A. in Public Affairs from the George Washington University. He is certified in Municipal Administration by The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
