| In 1998, the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approved a Community-Based Planning Program. Community-Based Plans are designed to address and offer solutions to the community's critical planning issues and concerns, and to protect the qualities and characteristics that define what is unique and special about the community. A community-wide consensus will be established on an action plan that has goals, objectives, policies, and proposals for guiding growth, regulating development, and delivering public services consistent with the residents' priorities. |
