Excavation and Phosphate Mining Permitting
 

Hillsborough County's Land Development Code requires excavations such as borrow pits obtain a permit to protect the environment and aquifer from harm. Large scale phosphate mining in the County is also regulated by state law and the Land Development Code. This service is responsible for the review, permitting, and inspection of Land Excavation Sites and Phosphate Mining Units.
