| Certification - To Provide Professional Consultant Services
The selection of professional consultant firms to provide services
to organizations under the auspices of the Board of County Commissioners
is subject to the Consultant's Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA),
Section 287.055, Florida Statutes. The County requires that firms desiring
to be considered for selection to provide professional consultant services
be certified as eligible to provide such services.
Firm selection will be based upon the County’s Certification
Criteria. Firms requesting certification shall submit the required
documentation in a form acceptable to the County.
Hillsborough County, upon receipt of the required documentation, shall
review the information and determine whether the firm, or the individual,
is fully qualified to be certified as eligible to provide services
to the county. Each firm shall be notified, in writing, of the final
determination to either certify or deny certification to provide professional
services. Certified firms are eligible to receive all announcements
for professional services being solicited in the discipline of their
professional qualifications and certification.
