• Represents the Board of County Commissioners and the County Administrator regarding issues of interest to Hillsborough County to elected and appointed officials, and others, at the local, state, and federal levels.
  
  
• Develops policy recommendations on intergovernmental/other issues, and coordinates the State and Federal Legislative Programs on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners and the County Administrator.
  
  
• Serves as staff to the Board of County Commissioners' Citizens Advisory Committee.
  


• Serves as staff to the Commission on the Status of Women, which was created by the Board of County Commissioners in April 2003.
  
  
• Serves as staff to the Hillsborough County Council of Governments.
