• Develops and coordinates the State and Federal Legislative programs on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners and the County Administrator.



• Represents the Board of County Commissioners and the County Administrator to the Governor, the Cabinet, the Florida Legislature, and the United States Congress.



• Serves as staff to the Commission on the Status of Women, which was created by the Board of County Commissioners in April 2003.



• Serves as staff to the Board of County Commissioners' Citizens Advisory Committee and the Hillsborough County Council of Governments.



• Represents the Board of County Commissioners and the County Administrator in fostering relationships with the school board, cities, and local communities.
