FREEDOM

Gaze at me and wonder what I see
My arms, outstretched, that measure countless
stars
My stance unmatched by even the tallest tree
The compass of my
feet, a common cause!
O gaze at me and wonder what you see
My glistening chest that hides a heart
of steel
That judges Human Will and finds it free
To reach aloft and spin
God's cosmic wheel!
To make of life whatever life may be,
Like an early morning sun, I rise
up free!

Mírame fíjo y asómbrate de lo que veo
Mis brazos,
extendidos, midiendo infinitas estrellas
Mi postura única inimitable hasta por el árbol más
alto
El compás de mis pies, una causa común!
Por favor mírame fijo y asómbrate de lo que ves
El resplandor
de mi pecho que oculta el corazón de hierro
Que juzga al Deber Humano
y lo encuentra libre
Para llegar a lo alto y rodar la rueda cósmica
de Dios!
Para hacer de la vida lo que la vida sea
Como las mañanas tempranas
de sol, yo me levanto libre!
