Mission Statement

- The Engineering Division programs short, mid, and selected long range transportation and stormwater requirements for unincorporated
Hillsborough County, thru the development and implementation of sustainable master plans and multi-year programs, in coordination
with Planning and Growth Management Department (PGMD).
- The Engineering Division designs and constructs high quality transportation and stormwater
Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and non-CIP projects, and implements repair projects and
specialized services thru in-house forces.
- The Engineering Division provides design and engineering support to all of Public Works, other
departments and its citizens as directed.
